MCI provides a 5-day course at MCI containing a selection of topics from the list below:

+ Materials (carbon steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals,
   production of materials)
+ Corrosion (fundamentals, engineering)
+ Welding and welding problems
+ Water Treatment (process water, cooling water, boiler water )
+ Metallurgical failure mechanisms (failure analysis)
+ Plastics and composites
+ Inspection Techniques
+ Fitness for Service ( FFS + FEM analyzes)

During this course your failure cases and material issues can be discussed. Moreover, the laboratory from MCI is visited and our working method is explained. Some of our cases will be explained based on life footage.
The purpose of this course is to provide participants with more knowledge about the behaviour of materials in relation to their environment. By increasing knowledge and understanding about failures your judgement regarding the integrity of your installation will be improved, thus increasing the effectiveness of your installation.

This course is intended for people responsible for the integrity and design of an installation in which failure mechanisms are an important aspect. Are you or your colleague an inspector, reliability engineer, maintenance manager or -engineer (or similar)? This course will aid to improve the integrity and reliability of your installation.
